Terms and Conditions

Appointments  

All grooming services are provided on a 1-to-1 basis, meaning your dog will receive the groomer’s full attention during their appointment. Please arrive on time to ensure the schedule runs smoothly.

Late Arrival / Failure to Attend  

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and may incur a late cancellation fee.  

Failure to attend an appointment without notice (no-show) may result in a charge of up to 100% of the grooming fee, and future bookings may require a deposit.

Cancellations  

We kindly ask for at least 24–48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.  

Cancellations made with less notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost.

Matting  

Matting can cause significant discomfort and skin problems for dogs. If a dog’s coat is severely matted, the groomer may need to clip the coat short to safely remove the matting.  

Please note:  

- De-matting can be painful and stressful for dogs, therefore the welfare of the dog will always come first.  

- Additional time and equipment may be required, and extra charges may apply.  

- Removing severe matting can sometimes reveal pre-existing skin conditions such as sores, redness, or irritation. The salon cannot be held responsible for these conditions once the coat is removed.

Fleas and Parasites  

If fleas are discovered during the grooming appointment:  

- A flea treatment bath will be given immediately to prevent contamination of the salon.  

- An additional charge will be added to cover treatment and extra cleaning required.  

Owners will be informed and may be advised to treat their home and pet appropriately.

Coat Maintenance Between Appointments  

Owners are responsible for maintaining their dog’s coat between grooming appointments. This includes regular brushing, combing, and proper coat care to prevent matting.  

The groomer can provide advice on suitable grooming routines and tools, but ongoing coat maintenance remains the responsibility of the owner.

Dog Welfare  

The comfort, safety, and welfare of your dog are always the highest priority. If a dog becomes overly stressed, aggressive, or unwell during grooming, the session may be stopped or modified for the dog’s wellbeing, and the owner will be contacted.
